Fynton is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform, operated by FjordPoint Capital GmbH, that provides automated research and matching tools for the private markets. The product is a technology tool — not a financial advisor, broker, dealer, placement agent, or fiduciary. Nothing on the platform creates a client-advisor, broker-client, or similar regulated relationship.
Fynton does not constitute investment intermediation, investment advice, placement agent services, or financial portfolio management within the meaning of MiFID II (Directive 2014/65/EU) or the German Banking Act (Kreditwesengesetz, KWG). FjordPoint Capital GmbH is not licensed under § 32 KWG and does not provide any services that require such a licence.
Fynton aggregates, scrapes, and processes information from publicly available sources on the web, including company websites, public filings, press releases, published conference attendee and speaker lists, and other openly accessible materials. We also maintain a proprietary database of investor profiles compiled from public sources and relationship-sourced data provided by private markets professionals with appropriate authorisation.
Outputs are generated automatically based on your inputs, configured matching profiles, and your interaction data (e.g. accepts, declines, relationship status). We do not independently verify every data point and do not guarantee that sources remain current or accurate.

Fynton uses artificial intelligence, including large language models, to research, enrich, classify, and summarise information and to draft suggested outreach. AI-generated outputs may contain errors, omissions, outdated details, or fabricated information (“hallucinations”), and may misinterpret source material. All outputs are for informational purposes only and are not verified statements of fact. You must independently verify investor information before acting on it. FjordPoint Capital GmbH accepts no liability for decisions made based on platform outputs.
Fynton is designed for specific B2B use cases in private-markets investor research and outreach. It is not a universal data platform and may not be suitable for every use case, jurisdiction, or regulatory context. Results depend on the quality and scope of your inputs, available public data, and the limitations of automated research. You are responsible for evaluating whether the platform fits your needs and complies with applicable laws.
